I've wanted to make big versions of my drawings for ages but I haven't quite been able to overcome the fear of scale that I've had. This also embraces my complete obsession for old books and old paper. I think this is going to be one of a series of works...

so I've been working hard it this big painting. Drawn out all the boards and getting the majority of all the elements painted in. I got a bit too into the idea of being realistic with the tones and details of the faces and looking at them together so far, some of the contrasts are bit too extreme between the people. Nothing that can't be corrected though. I'll be working hard to complete this asap. Exciting stuff!

I started a new commission today for a restaurant / cafe / bar in worcester called 'the arthouse'. I've not painted properly for a good while so it's really exciting and I'm jumping right back into it! wooo! I'm drinking ginger beer and listening to owen. it's all good!

this inky number was a pitch for head & shoulders through saatchi & saatchi. The slogan for the ad was ' see anything you want in hair except dandruff...?'. Inspired by visual mind tests & symmetry and a big old nod to gnarls barkley video ' crazy' here's what happened...

I'm just working with a friend in worcester to set up an up and coming bands night for the local youths. Just working on a logo, this is how I'm getting on so far. I'm not really a logo person so this is quite adventurous for me...

I got a commission from YCN Sweden for an editorial piece for Swedish men's magazine 'Bon'. Two of the writers from the magazine swapped roles for the week. One was very technologically advanced and the other one much more traditional. Here's how they turned out.... cheers josefine.
