dalston market...

Here's a little piece I made after Checking out the local 'Ridley Road' market. I love Dalston! It was good to get back to my original ethos of working which incorporated analog and digital processes. This image started as an ink drawing then the scanner gobbled it up and the printer spat it out very faintly. I then painted on top of the faint drawing with watercolour and offered it up again to the scanner and printer and produced quite an interesting overprint effect. Next time I'm going to print it out a bit fainter then fingers crossed get less blurring. I like the lack of control the printer has, it never quite prints exactly in the same place. mmmm analog!

painting...

yesterday I spent the day experimenting. Working in a really free way which was really exciting and I don't always have that much time to do it so this is what happened...

wonders in the wood...

A short while ago ago I spent the weekend with my very talented artist / musician friend oliver sutherland in Bristol. Oliver and I went on a small expedition to Leigh woods where we recorded a series of short songs and musical experiments in response to our surroundings. Here is a sleeve I have made for the cd which will hopefully be finished shortly.
