life drawing...

This was such a refreshing exercise, I can't remember the last time I did any studies from life so having a four hour session was pretty good. I got a bit experimental but life studies all the same. I also forgot how tiring it is looking all the time when you're doing lots of small drawings...

I've wanted to make big versions of my drawings for ages but I haven't quite been able to overcome the fear of scale that I've had. This also embraces my complete obsession for old books and old paper. I think this is going to be one of a series of works...
