yesterday I spent the day experimenting. Working in a really free way which was really exciting and I don't always have that much time to do it so this is what happened...
A short while ago ago I spent the weekend with my very talented artist / musician friend oliver sutherland in Bristol. Oliver and I went on a small expedition to Leigh woods where we recorded a series of short songs and musical experiments in response to our surroundings. Here is a sleeve I have made for the cd which will hopefully be finished shortly.
I entered a competition to design the front and back covers of the october / november edition of the wonderfull free Fact magazine. I made some drawings and photos into a mini landscape / diorama I quite liked it and it was fun to make. Night and day check it!...
I pimped a little envelope for my good friend sam bassett a little while ago you can see his work on http://www.myspace.com/bassettsmilk. it's really lovely!
I had the pleasure of working with some lovely people for 4Wall as part of Designers Block's contribution to the london design festival. The lovely Claire Oliver from 4Wall, Kenn Goodall illustrator extrordinaire and myself spent the last few weeks wrestling an exhibition into shape for the launch night. We also had the pleasure of working with some amazing illustrators and artists. Thanks to Cat Johnston, Erin Petson, Pomme Chan, and Claire Scully for your help and beautiful wall work!
